We absolutely loved this quaint hotel. The view was beautiful of the lake. The room was the Safari room. The woman that I believe that owns it is truly the best hostess from making the bed to serving the most delicious dinner we had on our trip. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

Dinner at the Inn took my wife and I back in time to over 30 years ago. If you have never experienced the Swan River Inn we highly encourage you to try it. From sitting down with the original owners to the atmosphere and food, it is a wonderful experience all the way around! A monumental piece of downtown Bigfork, so glad to see some of them coming back to life in our community!

I think this is my 3rd time staying- in the summer. This time we stayed in the Tuscan Suite- our favorite by far! The decor and front door right on the main sidewalk and convenient to parking were perfect. So much room for my husband and I in the master suite (and Yes- I used the gorgeous copper tub!) daughter and son in law and grandchildren in the second room and my 21 year old daughter on the Futon in the living room. Pictures on the website do Not do it justice. Everything was clean...as it was on each of my previous visits over the past few years. And my daughter and I are very picky on that front-Very unique lodging- one of a kind- lovely views and a nice back porch with table/chairs and great place for your pet to lounge, too. Will definitely be back! And of course, right in the middle of one of our fav places to visit- Big Fork. Convenient to Flathead Lake, Kalispell and good places to eat. Almost forgot to mention- nice high ceilings which added so much to the spacious feeling!

I’d been to Bigfork before and was always curious about this building because it looks so beautiful from outside, turns out it’s gorgeous inside as well!! I stayed in the Crystal Palace and it was stunning. I stayed two nights and was so sad to leave because it was perfectly serene. The bed was so comfy, the shower was incredible and had 2 different shower heads and 3 wall jets, the massive tub was incredible to soak in, the patio had beautiful views and the room and building is just so nicely decorated. I see that some people complain the rooms aren’t perfectly clean, but I think they’re being way too harsh. The room was as clean (if not cleaner) than I keep my own home. I did not have any problems during my stay! I did have one point of confusion as my room had a patio but I wasn’t sure if it was meant to be private or not as there are iron gates to close it off but they weren’t always shut and I had a couple people walk onto my patio while I was getting dressed. But I don’t know if those guests were in the wrong or if my patio was meant to be more of a community space.

Great little hotel with themed rooms. The owner has put in great care to make the rooms themed with her experiences from around the world. Really enjoyed staying here and enjoyed the experience! We stayed in the Arabian, it had a great tub, but the bathroom doesn't have a door. So be aware of that.

Wow, we stayed five nights at the Log Cabin Suite and by the end, I wish we could have moved in. It was lovely!! You can tell the decoration has lovingly handpicked for many years; So many great pieces! The kitchen was huge and had plenty of plates and utensils. All the beds were comfy, except part of the King bed frame is broken and you can feel that on one side. But even the two twin pull out cots were surprisingly soft. This room was located on the lower level so it had stairs inside and outside, which was hard with a stroller. But, we were able to leave the stroller outside because apparently nobody steals in Bigfork. Wish I could have talked with the owner. I would have told her that she did an amazing job with the suite and it made for a wonderful experience in Montana.

I love the bar a dining space! Had one of the best tasting and best priced mocktails I’ve ever had! The vibe is neat and the Tuscany room was an amazing place to gather with family! Spacious, beautiful, and a great kitchen for cooking. Right at the end of downtown Bigfork, the location can’t be beat.
